Good news comes your way as Florida is opening opportunities for travel nurses. Travel nurse companies within the state are offering high-paying positions for all registered nurses (RN) who are willing to travel in order to serve the people of the state. Inside the Travel Nurse Bag


The travel nurse company have successfully put you in the right place you will be working. The next thing to do is pack up your things.  Apart from mastering your practice, you must remember that you also need to master the art of what to pack, especially because you will be doing this for every 3-6 months.

Today’s packing list is your clothes. I know you still have some other stuff like toiletries, gadgets, and documents to bring with you. But the hassles of packing up clothes will surely get to you.

Your wardrobe will change depending on your location and season. But to complete a safe set of wardrobe, you must have:


·         two-four T-shirts needed for nurse activities you will be involved in
·         three- four jeans/shorts as it can be worn with anything at anytime
·         one swimsuit since you will never know if there’s a good beach/pool in your area
·         a sweater necessary for late night shifts or hangouts
·         dressy jacket for any occasions with family and friends
·         rain jacket/umbrella especially if the location has a heavy rain forecast
·         three pairs of sock and undergarment since you can purchase more pairs once you arrived
·         one long underwear for cold climate places
·         a couple accessories like scarf, necktie, hair band, and bandanna to complete your outfit
·         one cap which can be used on sunny days or even on rainy times
·         a pair of dressy shoes
·         a pair of running shoes
·         a pair of sandals/flip flops

Over packing some of these things will cost you time and space. So pack up smart and bring only the necessary items. You can also do research on the location you’re heading to know what to bring more or what not to bring. J

If you have decided on the workplace you are interested to serve in, you will be set in a telephone interview with the chosen hospital. The recruiter will be your best buddy. He/She will help you prepare with the interview to secure a good chance of having the position you want.
